Hope this finds you well. I wanted to provide you with some updates. We are still in a very fluid time and things are changing almost daily.
NJEA has provided the following information:
1. NJEA Vaccine FAQ: The information in this Q&A is based on the information made publicly available by the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) at the time of publishing, January 14, 2021.
2. Flexible Spending Accounts – Changes for 2021
SGO’s:
. For the 2020-2021 school year, the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:6-123(b)(3) and (6) are waived and student growth data shall not be used as a measure of educator effectiveness in the overall summative evaluation of any educator. All other requirements concerning the development and measurement of student growth objectives enumerated in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-4.2(e) shall remain in effect.
